Where are you shadamy

Sega city was slowly turning into ruins. Car horns and alarms sounding off in the hearing of far distances from the city, helicopters and missiles shooting and crashing open buildings causing massive explosion in different sections of Downtown Sega. Lives lost and broken on innocent and such delicate animals*.

All just in one mission to find one very powerful Hedgehog, The Ultimate Life form.

"Quick Amy! This way!" Shadow charged her into a dark alley. He led her to secret doorway revealing a staircase.

"Go down these stairs until you reach a dark hallway with a candle torch lit up. Then take that torch and proceed down the right side of the hallway and you should manage to escape." he explained to her.

"N-no Shadow! I won't leave without you!" she cried, nearly in tears. "You said we would be together forever. You said that you will always stay by my side, no matter the danger."
He looked away in guilt.
"Don't tell me you're lying!" She screamed. Bullets of tears were shooting out of her big innocent eyes. She clung onto his arms and dared not to let go. Not yet. Not here.

"Amy. Please. Just listen to me. It's for the safety of your life. I'm doing this for you." He assured her.
"But I'm nothing without you!" she continued to scream. Shadow had to hold her back, no matter how much pain he is causing for the both of them.

Sounds of the helicopter were getting closer. He could here military soldiers from afar yelling to each other "Have you found him yet?"

"Amy PLEASE. GO." he demanded. She didn't listen. She kept her grasp on his arms, crying and crying.
Shadow sighed and hugged petted her head. He cuddles her under his chin and whispered

"Shhh. Amy, please go. I promise you, no matter what, I will see you again."

She held him back and peered up to the tall strong Hedgehog and looked into his crimson eyes.
"You promise?" she choked.
He took her hand and wrapped his pinky with hers "Promise." he confirmed. She forced a weak smile and walked to the doorway.

"THERE HE IS!" cried a military solider. His padded shirt read ARK in a big white text. Shadow turned his back towards Amy, ready to fight.

"Shadow!" she cried.
"Amy GO!" He yelled.

"Men! Ready your guns!" cried one of the ARK soldiers.
"And ..."

"AMY! LEAVE! NOW!" he screamed. Amy couldn't turn away. She hid behind the big metal door and peeped at the whole fight.

"FIRE!"
"SHADOW!" she cried.

"CHAOS SPEAR!" A bright white light bursted out from Shadow.
The fog cleared and she saw no army men, no guns, no tanks, and she saw no Shadow.

"Sh-Shadow..." she whispered. She opened the door widely and saw nothing but 2 remaining dead men and a green chaos emerald.

"Shadow." she repeated "Where are you?" she started to cry.
She backed away back into the darkness of the door closing it slowly behind her.

She ran down the stairway and grabbed the one lit torch as what Shadow had said. She proceeds into the right side of the hallway and ran straight to where Shadow had predicted. An escape.

As she popped out of the tunnel-way she glanced back one last time holding back her tears.
"Goodbye, Shadow." she whispered, and ran into the depths of the forest.

Seven Years Later

"Miss Amy! Miss Amy!" smiled an enthusiastic student.
Amy Rose was now 20 years old, her hair grew past her shoulders and breasts, her green eyes have appeared to grow brighter, and she has fully developed as well.
And now she also has a great career as a daycare teacher in a small town.

"Yes, what is it Sammy?" she smiled back
"Tell me that story again."
"What story, Sammy?" she asked the bubbly 6 year old boy.
"The one with the dark prince and how he saved you." he said.

"O-oh. That one." she forced a weak smile at him. She has told the kids her past, even though it had pained her so. She was so young and helpless and... In Love.

But before she could even start, the bell for home time had rung.
"Well I guess I'll tell you tomorrow." she carried him off her lap. A sound of awe's surrounded the classroom.
She nervously smiled.

As the last student was picked up, Amy sighed and sat on a bench by the cherry trees near the school playground.

"Shadow. Are you still out there?" she gazed into the sky.
"I-I miss you so much." she looked down at her pinky. She began to cry.

"Y-you promised me. You promised that you would see me again." she broke down into tears of pain and frustration. Was he dead, or was he alive? And if he was alive, should he not be here by now? Or did they capture him and used him as an experiment? Or even worse, they have killed him.

"So many questions…" she murmured "So much wonder and heartbreak. Shadow." She repeated his name.
"I-I Love you  ... Shadow the Hedgehog." She stood up from the bench and wiped her tears.

"No Amy, stay strong. Shadow would not want to see you l-like this." She choked.

"Yes Amy. Shadow would not want to see your beautiful face in such distress." said a warm voice form behind her. She turned around and to her shock, it was Shadow. Shadow the Hedgehog. The Ultimate Life Form, her Loved One.

"Sh-Shadow?" she circled around the bench and stood a foot away from him, looking confused.

"I-is that really you?"
"Amy, I promised you did I not? We … how do you say this?"
Amy cried again tears of joy. It's him. It really is him.

"Pinky promised." He confirmed. He stepped forward. So did she. She clasped her delicate small shaking hands onto his face.
"Shadow." She whispered. "You came back. You really did come back." She smiled.
He hugged her waist tightly and pulled her in his arms.

"Yes, Rose. I have come back. It was a long hard journey and it was very difficult to find you after to explosion but I finally found you. After all these years." He smiled also. And were those tears in his eyes as well?

The gap between they're lips closed. They kissed each other so passionately that words cannot describe how enchanting it must have felt to be back together. After all these years.

He slid his tongue inside the girl's mouth and swirled and danced with hers. They took a moment to breathe, and went on again. He kissed her neck, and she moaned seductively.

After 2 long minutes they just sat by the bench admiring the cherry blossoms together in silence.

"So," Amy broke in "What have you been doing all these years that you finally have come back to me?" she asked.

He smirked and hugged her more tightly and told her his whole journey around the world just to find one girl. His girl.
And she explained about her gloomy time without him also.
